1st Gen Wheels on a 2nd Gen

Now, I know they'll fit and will appear wider because of the offset difference (and the fact that they are actually wider), I'm mostly wondering if anyone knows of any pictures of Regals with 5-spokes or cross-laces (even GP's w/ x-laces). I'm not sure if I want to go this route or not because I don't know if they'll fit with my planned brake upgrades, but that's down the line and probably doesn't matter at this time. I definitely want something for summer tires so I can keep the factory wheels for snow tires and I like the look, offset and especially the width of the cross-laces so I can fit wider tires and I think they'd look good painted the body cladding color. There's a yard a couple hours away from me that has a set of both types (white x-laces and silver 5-spokes) for $400.

Thanks

I like them, but they look a little awkward at stock height. A drop is needed.

The crosslaces seem to look fine, but for some reason the 5-spokes are indeed awkward at the front.

thanks for the pictures. Hopefully I can find some more, esp of regals w/ x-laces. I actually have a spare mounted to a 2nd gen 5-spoke wheel so I can pretty much see how they'll look, but I definitely like the 1st gen ones better even though they have pontiac engraved in them.

wow, thanks, they look great on those! If I can't find a good deal on an a/m wheel I like I'm definitely going with x-laces.

I think def gray or gunmetal w/ the color of my car
