BG 44K top end cleaner!!!

I am VERY impressed with this. Although it is nearly $40 a can, it is well worht it on high mileage engines. Mine with 226K on it was making a horible noise at high RMPs under load. I assume this noise was knock cuz it was a rapid popping/tinking noise. I added this can of 44K to a half tank of gas, and in the short time between home and work, i could already feel the difference (my tank was almost completely emtpy before i added so it kicked in right away)

i can run it up to redline and the knocking noise is going away progressively. it runs MUCH smoother and a shit load quieter. I highly recamend that anyone with a higher mileage engine run this to clean out some of the shit and carbon buildup in ther engine.

Man, I've read SO much about that shit and have been looking EVERYWHERE for it here in Ontario! I even called the BG44K distributer and he gave me some numbers, but whenever I call, all I get are these retarded receptionist that have NO idea what I'm talking about...then the parts people don't know!?

Now that you've told me how much of a difference it made, I'm gonna try EVEN harder this time to get my hands on some...

THANKS!:)

if your "knocking" is spark ping or something to that nature(i assume cuz you didnt add anything to the oil) its probably ads something that burns better like using a higher octane, some times you get this when the compresson is not up to snuff. have you ever had problems passing the emmisions test? possibly on carbon monoxide? the carbon monoxide is partly burn fuel because the compression doesnt compress the vapors enough to burn it all and thats why adding things like denatured alcohol helps it pass. So you might want to try using a higher octane gas if this problem comes back and it might solve your problem. sorry for the length, just a thought and good luck

yeah, i generally run 85 octain - i think it wass just cuz of carbon buildup causing preignition.... this stuff that i added (44K) is supposed to burn off carbon buildup like that and it seems to be working.... buddys 'retta had the same problem, only when he had his heads done, the combustion chamber was soo full of shit (carbon). it was like giant flakes of carbon so i imagine with my 226K miles of 85 octaine, im sure thats all it is.... although the car has never had a problem. The Emissions place told me that my car was the healthiest car they have seen in a while actually (at least for high milage). I was basicly putting out readings like a brand new car.
