Top and windows up - hear a rattle

The rattle seems to come from the rear seat area. I suspect the top's frame is touching the body somewhere. Any ideas? It is not very loud and I've had it since I bought it. I know the ambient noise is higher with the top and windows down, but I don't believe it rattles then. Thanks.

If you're hearing one rattle and not squeaking, clunking and tons of rattling, count your blessings.

That kind of trouble shooting requires two people. One drives while you ride in back to locate the source of the rattle.

So, if this were software, you're saying this is a feature- not a bug. Thanks for the replies. I shall not fret no more.

Hahaha, well.... if it were Windows software, it would be normal.

But yeah, it is a convertible, there will be some rattles and noises. Unless you can visually see something that looks loose, or wearing through, I'd not worry too much about it.

Rear struts are a year old. Had I known what I was getting into, I would have had it done.

My car rattles too when the top is up and windows are up. It also sounds like it is comming from the rear passenger side on the driver side.

Actually, driving the car today for the first time in over a week...Didn't rattle.

Any chance you've got stuff in the trunk banging together? Spare tire, jack and that tight in the well?

Mine isn't banging- just a rattle and the trunk is secure.
