karrkrazzie
On my 99 LTZ i need to take off the rear caliper to get the strut out.... I have never seen ones like this before. usually there is a bolt on the top and a bolt on the bottom... on this one, there is a bolt on the bottom and a rubber plug into a small on the top.... How do you take these off??? Second question if the strut broke through the mount in the rear and is hitting the panel above it, and the nut is still on the top of the strut; the mount breaking is the only thing that would cause this.... right? 19Cutlass94
take the bottom bolt off, flip the caliper up, and slide it off. yes, the strut mount breaking is the only thing that would cause that. unless your tower broke which would probably never happen.
