i found a lock cover from a 85 i think GP, and it was in pretty decent shape, and i've always liked lock covers, and well i snatched it and temporarely put it on mine. I pretty much like it except for the fact that it sticks out a little more that i would like but looking at it head on looks pretty good. Now the question is What are your opinions, what do you think about it?

If I'm not mistaken, it swivels out of the way.

correct, there is a pivot point at the top which there is also a spring. When you push to the left it swivels up. There's also a lever that releases it when the key hits it.

I think that one sticks out way too much and ruins the lines of the trunk lid.

If you're going to modify your trunk lock, you have to do it right.

Or you could do something like my GTO had. I'm thinking about doing something like this on mine possibly. Like xtreme said, no lock at all, just an arrowhead instead. Sorry 'bout the crappy cell phone pic
