joey b
Can anyone inform me as to how to remove the rear bumper cover? It seems to be held on by some rivets of sort that are about 3/4 inch in diameter.
Crazy K
sorry for the delay. front or rear? no rivets anywhere. you have to find the hidden nuts on the studs that retain either bumper. hunt around. in the rear the bottom part has two nuts on each side. one accessable from inside the trunk, one hidden from view in the fender well. Otherwise plenty of plastic pop lock things I remove with a good pair of pliers.
joey b
the rivets appeared only visible from the bottom and tucked away. They are definately in some manner fastening the bumper in place. I will have to just look better I assume. Thank you, though.
1990lumina
should you aren't confusing those plastic pop lock thingies with rivets?? they look somewhat similar...
joey b
one side has a square head, and I'm quite sure they are metal. I'll have to get a better look later.
