fastbird232
I have a 1999 Alero LD9 car with 196,000 miles on it. You win.
slick
I hope to reach 300,000km on my car... I'm only at 238,000 right now. Considering I'm lucky to drive 15k a year, I'll be lucky if I reach 250,000km before I get pissed with this car. lol Just keep driving it. My Lumi had 245,000 klicks when I got it, and in the 6 months I've had it, it's already nearing the 257,000 klick mark. I just hope my alternater or timing belt don't blow up anytime soon, cause their both getting due. Follow my alternator repair sequence in the FAQ section. It makes it really easy to do. My Acura has 160,000 miles (258,000 km). As long as I keep up on maintenance, I should be able to hit 225-250,000 miles (360-400,000 km) on it before doing a Type II engine swap. IRONDOG442
Nah Anthony you win, the car I mentioned is pictured here before I cut the rear quarter off for another Alero I have. fastbird232
How's the LD9 holding up after all those miles? Mine's alright, except for this nagging high idle at startup (which is going to be murder on the engine in the winter).
IRONDOG442
It held up great it looks new under the hood, I am impressed with it, if you need a spare I will sell you this one for $

ihateallmustangs
Thats what i was thinking there is no reason for his car NOT to make it to 300,000+ with proper maintence. These motors even respond well without regular maintence.
Crazy K
And Crazy K, are you meaning Drive Train? or Drive Chain? Both do exist after all.. Oops! I meant drivetrain!
ihateallmustangs
Past the 350,000 mark now.. pic to follow. Still original aside from it eating the alternator I dropped in 2 years ago.
