They asked that I only remove the excess material but leave the brown coating alone when I apply their sound deadener. Oh and this was Second Skin! He shut the trunk to soon, before it dried and it permanetly selaed the trunk shut!!! He had to get the thing cut off with a torch, it was a huge mess. As for the Second Skin falling off, its possible. There always that issue of surface preperation Many people just think they can peel and put it on and its done, not true. After dealing with enough BS and propaganda when I go to sound deaden my vehicles I will probably just buy the industrial crap from McMaster Car.
