CutlassSL91 Posted January 4, 2006 Report Share Posted January 4, 2006 i am wondering, how some mufflers, particularly old OEM ones, can be so loud outside, and inside, you cannot hear them at all. my magnaflows, it isn't really loud on the outdie, but inside, its very loud. i am not as impressed with the magnaflows at i thought i'd be, maybe i need a resonator. the sound outside is not that smooth, or loud. they sound just like a fartcan on my car and i don't understand why. i would like to be able to get clips posted but i do not have a recorder right now. EurosportZ34 Posted January 4, 2006 Report Share Posted January 4, 2006 flowmaster 40 series on my 3.1L sound very nice...just ask anyone who's heard it before. it's a nice low agressive sound! you can hear it both inside and outside of the car. try putting a resonator on...might help ya some.
