Illuminous Posted March 1, 2003 Report Share Posted March 1, 2003 okay, first off, I'm new here I have a 1997 Lumina LS 3100 SFI V6. my problem is with my guage cluster the guages don't light up and also the HVAC controls do not light up either. All the guages and lights (SES, Airbag, Low Trac..ETC.) work normally. The only thing is that the guages don't light up. Is it possible that I have blown bulbs? could they all go out like that at once? or is it what I'm thinking a blown fuse somewhere? I have checked one fuse that I thought might be the problem, it was the fuse that was for the Guage panel and cig lighter I think, it was okay. if it is a fuse, can someone tell me which fuse to check? I have heard that it might be some "weird" fuse that you would never think would be for that. I am about ready to yank all the fuses and see if any are blown, but if someone can tell me one to check it would be appreciated. luminator94 Posted March 1, 2003 Report Share Posted March 1, 2003 I'm experiencing problems with my guages at night also. Only its on my '97 Cutty. Mine have been starting to "flicker" from bright to dim. Mainly on the right side though where my speedo and fuel gauge is. Anyone know what might be causing this? PJB Posted March 2, 2003 Report Share Posted March 2, 2003 My cousin had this problem with his Neon, except his taillights and dome light didnt work either.
