I went to start my '94 Cutty today and it sounds like the gear is coming out and hitting the flywheel. When I got the car the starter was in the trunk. They didn't think it had a shim but were not sure. When I went to put it on the mounting surface didn't look like it had a shim, unless it had the same cutout as the starter. Thanks in advance.
