GP ones are easier to find, gearhead's website has the pinouts for the HUD and i beleive the lumina cluster pinouts are on here, as you will need to splic into the lumina cluster harness. Justin Posted July 29, 2005 Report Share Posted July 29, 2005 The GP one will be harder to work with since the factory bezel on the GP is rounded to match the contours of the GP dash. The Cutlass dash is flat like the Lumi, so you'd be better off looking for a CS unit in my opinion. Also, the earlier CS units with the metal grille on top have an integrated height adjuster so you don't have to mess with routing the cable for the vertical adjustment. Obviously, he can't slap one of the newer ones on there. an 89-93 GP HUD will work just as well in that application, except you would have to route the cable and attach the tray correctly, which is a PITA, unless he got one from a TGP. Crimson Fury Z Posted July 30, 2005 Report Share Posted July 30, 2005 mu hahaha! yes, i do know! mine is the 1st gen GP hud. and the cluster pinout is in the faq section. the hud pinouts for the hud harness and dimmer harness are on gearhead's site. i got the hud, dimmer/mirror adjuster and the metal bracket tray. i never have finished the mounting. i got about 1" tall foam/rubber mat piece that sits on top of the cluster then hud sits on the foam. feel free to hit my aim up or pm for any help.
