Prospeeder Posted April 2, 2005 Report Share Posted April 2, 2005 My parking brake was retarding out, and it would just pump and pump and nothing, well, i looked up under the parking brake pedal and looked at all the mechinisms, and the 15 year old grease gummed up around the tooth that grabs the gears when u pres the pedal. So i scraped some of the gummed grease, and then saturated it in WD-40 and used a flat head screw driver and moved the tooth back and forth, now the thing sets the parking brake in 1 pump.
