Robby1870 Posted January 18, 2003 Report Share Posted January 18, 2003 Hey, I was just being curious, would a 4T65-E HD tranny out of a GTp bolt up to my 3.1L?? my tranny was slippin, so I cahnged the fluid, and it works fine now, but some guy told me in his experiences with 4T60s that once they started slippin they were cooked. I didn't much believe him, but it made me wonder. B/c if my tranny turns out to be cooked in a year or two, I would rather get the 4T65-E HD, b/c my goal for my GP is an L67 and with that motor I would need the GTP tranny. And if mine is cooked now, I would rather go ahead and get used or even new GTP tranny for almost or less money than I can get a new 4T60.
