Guest TurboSedan Posted July 28, 2004 Report Share Posted July 28, 2004 it is rigidly mounted. the bottom of the crossover flange has 2 extra bolt holes...this is where the crossover pipe bolts to the automatic transmission shield. if you're using a 5-speed (like i am) you'll need to fabricate a turbo support bracket. Jcrow Posted July 28, 2004 Author Report Share Posted July 28, 2004 I am thinking that if it were on a flexable mount it would absorb the heat expansion of the crossover tube (I would like to build one with no flex joints to worry about.)
