Ever since I had a lot of front-end work done...

In the past 2 months the following have been replaced:

- Both driveshafts(aka axles)

- Both lower ball joints

- Both tie-rod ends

- Both wheel bearings/hubs

- Front pads and rotors

- 4-wheel alignment

Ever since then, whenever I am accerating, the steering wheel likes to "jerk" a little to the left and then to the right and lastly to the left again...it does this a few times up until after I am in 3rd gear and then it stops...it's not like a constant "pull" or anything...it's just a little "JERK" that you can easily feel(and see) in the steering wheel...

I almost feels like one side is somehow accelerating quicker than the other or something...it's hard to explain...

But I was wondering what it could be? I was wondering if my mechanic accidentaly made one axle tighter in the hub than the other, if could it cause this sort of thing?

I suppose I should check my tire pressures also...but it never did this before all the front-end work...

Anyone?

THANKS!:)

when you get that jerking back and fourth like that, they have the tow too close to 0.00 on it because when you accelerate the wheels want to pull themselves to the outside, so typically you tow the front wheels in a little just .05 degreese or so, if they are towed out at all you get that problem too, I'd take it back for an other alignment/inspection.

also control arm bushings can cause that issue.

Caster being too far back...

camber too negative...
