Chris A Posted December 7, 2002 Report Share Posted December 7, 2002 You can also use a big pair of channel locks, or a use a screwdriver to push the pads back while the caliper is still mounted. If you use channel locks or a c-clamp you can just leave the old pad infront of the pistons and use that to push the calipers back in. Don't push directly on the piston as it can crack.
