JPaganel
ALDL is Assembly Line Diagnostic Link. It is a connector that allows you to plug in a scanning tool and get data from your engine computer(ECM). It is also where you can short two pins together to make your Check Engine light blink out stored codes. On a Cutlass it is located under the dash near the steering column. Er, don't you have a manual or something? Even Chilton's and Haynes have info on this... If you don't have one, buy it tomorrow. You will get buttloads of questions answered for only $15. JPaganel
Which one you got? I have the holy grail - the phone book sized dealer shop manual. It is that big and it only covers one car - the 1990 Cutlass.
