Lee Posted January 23, 2004 Report Share Posted January 23, 2004 Chris A, check this out. Now that you've got the switch in the mail, mine decided to start fuctioning again. I still want it for sure. I'll either do preventative maint. or wait for it to fail. Actually I think it's been failing partially for a year. I think maybe it's the switch causing the pump to run for 1/2 sec nearly every pedal use. If I keep the pedal down the pump doesn't run; but it'll run everytime I let it up and push again. Anyway, the story..... It was minus 15*F this morning when I put the fuse in and fired her up. The pump ran up and shut off. It's been working all day, from 8am til just now at 7pm. Maybe some grit was sticking in it and the thickness of the fluid this morning cleared it???? I don't know. But I do figure it'll fail again sooner or later. LOve my old beast.
