This is a question for those of you who have removed your catalytic converter and replaced it with either a high flo cat / straight pipe / glass pack....what is the best way to go??? My cat is shot and i was wondering what the best way to go would be.

You have the 3.1 or the 3.4 motor? I ran my 3.1 without a cat for 6 months, lost a little on the bottom end, gained a little in the top end and had a awful smelling exhaust. a 3.4 motor is pretty much all topend, so cutting the cat you will feel the difference 4000rpms+.

I ran a catco cat on my 3.1 for the remander of that engines life, with the 3.4 im going to run no cats and dynomax straight thru mufflers.

Then im going to say go with a catco cat so you dont loose what little power a 3.1 has. 3.1 is a bottom end motor, not much of 1 but thats where it makes power, so ya really dont wanna loose that.
