91_Lumina_V6 Posted January 17, 2004 Report Share Posted January 17, 2004 The last couples days I've noticed a sound in the engine like the sound of a card in the spokes of a tire. I pulled over and looked under the hood. I think it was Retention Spring. The small wheel that the serpentine belt loops around that can give and move? When the car is idling it bounces and is making a fairly loud noise. I can hear it over the heater and stereo, and I've noticed a loss of power.
