gtr252 Posted November 12, 2002 Report Share Posted November 12, 2002 Well I ran to O'Reily's the other day and decided to pick up some new engine paint, and man was I impressed with the results! This is Metalcast "Aluminized" paint, looks really great! The only bad thing about it is to make it heat resistant, you have to pretty much bake the paint on when it's wet, so I took a few trips up to the oven right after every coat and started cookin'! gtr252 Posted November 12, 2002 Author Report Share Posted November 12, 2002 Yeah, that's the new stuff. Only comes in blue, yellow, and red I think. Still, I'm pretty happy with the results. Thinking about re-doing the calipers and interior with it, dunno if it would hold on the calipers with the heat. Also gonna do my guitar body with it, already got it sanded down and primed!
