94 olds vert Posted March 4, 2018 Report Posted March 4, 2018 I never met him either. I do remember him being on the forum and talking down to other members. I was pretty green here at that time. So I didn't get involved. I remember we used to get into a lot of arguments back in those days. Now it's pretty peaceful. Quote
NCTyphoonKid Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 Here’s some vintage pics these were taken in 1989-1990ish of my moms Gran Sport and 87 Grand National, both fairly new cars then unfortunately both were sold in the early 90s 94 olds vert, 89-W-Body-Regal and Imp558 3 Quote
Imp558 Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 (edited) Thank You! My 1995 GS has black bumper molding. I know black is correct for a GS in that year but I was wondering how red would look if I can find it. Now I know it looks Bitchin'. Do you know what the deal was with those fog light covers? Were those an option or something? I've never noticed them before. Edited March 25, 2018 by Imp558 Quote

94 olds vert Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 I've never seen a pair of those before. I bet those got lost pretty easily. Quote

The Grand National is nice too but I'd rather have the GS, I'm weird like that. Nice pics! Quote
NCTyphoonKid Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 I’m not sure what happened to it it either got traded off or sold. I’d like to find another grand national I miss mine they were fun cars Quote
jiggity76 Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 I thought there was someone on here who had a really nice low mileage Grand National, like super low mileage. Quote
NCTyphoonKid Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 I had a 86 I lost in a house fire unfortunately, and bought a 86 t top gn after that one but sold it due to not having the funds to do it right and regretfully sold it now I wish I would’ve just let it sit until I had the funds but live and learn and that car is now finished and I’m Florida. I do plan on one day getting another Quote
Nas Escobar Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 That 89 GS looks mean. It's a shame no one appreciates these cars. They have aged rather well. 89-W-Body-Regal 1 Quote

I wish I knew where that car wound up, I found a 94 in the yard very similar to the one my mom had except it was a 94 and had a gray interior Quote
89-W-Body-Regal Posted April 4, 2018 Report Posted April 4, 2018 (edited) Does anybody remember seeing these 1988 Buick Regal and 1988 Buick Reatta Dealer Promotional Original Order Forms. How about those incentives back in 1989 of the new Buick Models 1989 Buick GS PACKAGE incentives too Edited August 3, 2019 by 89-W-Body-Regal Quote

jiggity76 Posted April 4, 2018 Report Posted April 4, 2018 More assembly line photos please! That platform looks state of the art and love the retro clothing and big glasses. I miss the 80's, 89-W-Body-Regal 1 Quote
89-W-Body-Regal Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 (edited) I found higher quality ones of the 1988-89 Regal on the assembly line that were posted by Jay. Here are higher quality photos that are closer and clearer. Edited September 13, 2018 by 89-W-Body-Regal Quote
jiggity76 Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 I think I've seen some of these but thank you for reposting. Really enjoy seeing these. I remember posting that the last car in the black and white photo might have the rear bucket option so that would make it a 1988 car? I don't see any GS badges on it. Now if someone could find some Cutlass or International assembly line photos, that would be the best! All Regals in these pics. I know the early Cutlass cars were built in Georgia right? Grand Prix's were built in KC? Wonder why they weren't built all in the same plant? 89-W-Body-Regal 1 Quote

K&R Posted August 29, 2018 Report Posted August 29, 2018 In the movie Big Daddy with Adam Sandler there is a first gen W Olds Cutlass parked on the street in the scene where they are leaving McDonalds. Quote
Imp558 Posted September 4, 2018 Report Posted September 4, 2018 Not a vintage photo but I found this in the spare tire well of the 1995 GS, the bracket is there, unused but I don't see the hardware. ManicMechanic 1 Quote
