GP1138 Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 Â I did a triple-take when I saw this, wasn't expecting to see Dayton up here. I know exactly where this is. I think I rode that bus too, a long time ago. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 I'm impressed you can tell that's a specific location in Dayton from a fire hydrant, some trees, and no more than 40ft of road! Quote
GP1138 Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 The trolley lines being in that location solidified it for me -- they end right around that area and loop around the block at the end of the bus route right outside of Kettering. Â I mean, I could be wrong, but I'm 99% sure I'm not. Â Edit: a quick look at the filename of the image tells me I'm right, I didn't think to look at that before. Quote

I think I rode that bus too, a long time ago.  I was wondering when you were going to notice that. ha  Funnier yet, I am fairly certain that GP was owned by my mom's co-worker's roommate. He lived in that area. Quote
Psych0matt Posted December 26, 2015 Report Posted December 26, 2015 Â looks vintage enough. monte Saturn? SaturnCarlo? Quote
Turbocharged400sbc Posted December 26, 2015 Report Posted December 26, 2015 those rims are nearly the same exact design as those turbine wheels ive seen on the 90 toronado trofeo's  might be an early aurora? Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted December 26, 2015 Report Posted December 26, 2015 The shape, taillight design, squared off wheel wells, and the crease that runs along the side just above the wheel wells makes me think Monte Carlo. Â Found this on Pinterest. "1994 Chevrolet Monte Carlo | Full-size clay model with the studio team" Quote
RobertISaar Posted December 26, 2015 Report Posted December 26, 2015 95 monte carlo design mule. surprisingly, a lot of it made it to production in various forms. Quote
ManicMechanic Posted December 28, 2015 Author Report Posted December 28, 2015 It isn't vintage BUT it recreates a vintage scene with a Regal. From the movie "Joy". Â 89-W-Body-Regal 1 Quote

jiggity76 Posted January 25, 2016 Report Posted January 25, 2016 Love all of the assembly line and dealership pics, awesome! Thanks for posting. The one with the Regal and both doors open looks like a Gran Sport with the bucket seats in the rear thru the back glass. Quote
89-W-Body-Regal Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 I love that dealership photo. If anyone can find one with the 89 Buicks I would love to see the regals from the same year Quote
Euro Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Awesome photos, seeing dealership lots full of 1st Gen W's from back then makes my pants tight for some reason.  Where'd you find these shots Jay? Quote
mfewtrail Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Walter White seems confused by that seatbelt. I laugh a little every time I see a picture of the seat belts buckled in with the doors open like that. I don't think many people made use of this "feature." Quote
94 olds vert Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 I tried to use it once. Never again. Galaxie500XL 1 Quote
