Stanley2187 Posted October 31, 2003 Report Share Posted October 31, 2003 I have a 1991 GP with 3.1. When first started engine runs great, nice throttle response and never misses a beat. After a few minutes say 3 to 5 minutes engine will miss and lack power. Am I correct in assuming I may have a defective ECM?? This happens only when the engine reaches a certain temperature. Redfox340 Posted October 31, 2003 Report Share Posted October 31, 2003 I would lead to believe it's an Oxygen Sensor, especially after warm up and the ECM goes into a closed loop.
