visitor Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Are the Bonneville hud's (internally) the same as the GP HUD's? I know the dash plate is different, but is the unit the same as far as size/wiring? Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Depends on the year. I had an older Bonneville HUD once, and it was differently shaped. Quote
jimmyfloyd Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 The units are physically different from 92-99 and 00+. 92-95 and 96-99 are also different in that they were adjusted electronically, whereas the 92-95 were cable adjusted like the GP/cutlass. As far as internals, I believe they are different from what I have seen, but i could be wrong. Quote
White93z34 Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 actually 96' bonneville HUDs were the old cable style. it was 97-99 that got electronic adjustment. the HUD in my 97 SSE is way smaller then a 97+ GP HUD, also less features too. Quote

jimmyfloyd Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 The 97+ GP and 00+ bonnevilles are basically the same. I believe the older ones don't have radio station in them as well as a couple other things. Been a while since I saw one. Quote
White93z34 Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 the 97+ GP ones display radio station / CD track. the unit itself is physically smaller in the bonnevilles too. the numbers are also bigger in the bonnevilles then the grand prix Quote
