jeremy
Why dont you just take a reciprocating saw and cut that blacked out part of the bumper right out? that would be all sorts of east side badass
White93z34
There is a fine line between "Blacked out lenses" and Blacked out lenses.
94 olds vert
I would put mine as "blacked out lenses" Good thing I took the insurance off today. So I am not tempted to drive it.

94 olds vert
Since it was a beautiful 36 degrees today , I was able to get outside and start my next project. I started to remove all the black paint on my exhaust tips. I got a good start so far, took me 30 minutes to get this far. It started getting dark at 5 and I can't work in the dark. I still have a lot more to do, but I think its already starting to look good.
jeremy
why did that take you so long? did you do it by hand?
94 olds vert
why did that take you so long? did you do it by hand? Ya I did it by hand. Tomorrow after school I will stop and get some sand paper for my grinder.
jeremy
that makes more sense then....it's like a 5-10 minute job with a grinder

94 olds vert
It's looking much better now. Thanks with my being sick and the crappy weather, I think I'm doing good so far.
94 olds vert
I finished this today, the pictures don't do it justice. I started at 100 by hand yesterday. Today, on the grinder 100, 150 and 320. I did 1000 by hand. Then a 2000 girt wet sand. Then I finished it by polishing it by mothers chrome polish. I might have over done it but they really look good.
5speedz34
Looks 100x better but they will get dirty again as soon as you drive it.
94 olds vert
I replaced the license plate bulb, with a blue one. I will get pics when it gets dark. And is that legal?
tornado_735
Is it legal? Probably not. I got pulled over for blue tinted turn signals when I had my Scion, and switched them to red. Didn't have a problem after that.
94 olds vert
Maybe if I can find a red one. But I had a hard time getting a blue one. And Blue goes better with the Michigan license plate.
RobertISaar
And Blue goes better with the Michigan license plate. true, but legality may win here.... if it is a bright enough shade, then it may pass as white when it's dark out. tornado_735
I have an idea for you. See if you can get some LED lights for your plate. I have a friend that did that to an unmentionable car (H***a) and it looks SWEET.

Well, I hope it just gives it a blueish tint. So I can keep it. When it gets dark we will see.
