Everyone knows that the TGP has Gold Lace wheels that are a pain in the ass to clean right??? I dont know what everyone else uses but i got a hold of some citrus cleaner and soaked them. Then I had took a rag and ran it through each and every space, it took a litle more then an hour to do all four wheels but they look so much nicer, the cleaner also shined up the chromse around the ouside of the gold. I just thought this might be useful because it does suck trying to get all that brake dust off the wheels. Does anyone else have any good cleaning methods???

I have A/R wheels on my Cutty and I use Meguire's hot wheels, I'm not too impressed w/ it, but I also use shitty brake pads from Adv. auto. I go as far as to take my wheels off when I clean them, makes it tons easier and you can get the back sparkling as well.

The brush sounds like a wise idea, I wish I would have thought of that before i did all four wheels with a towel lol. Thanks for the tip though, next time around I will use it for sure.

I used to have a little bristle bottle brush I used that was mcuh faaster. Simple Green seems to work really well on brake dust too.

ditto, I've got a spongy type bottle brush that's pretty gentle on the wheels that I use..still kinda a pain, I usually spray them w/ some diluted cleaner and then run the bottle brush through all the spaces...I've got a few ideas for the crosslaces that I wanna do later 8)
