GM destroys the vast majority of prototypes, concept cars, and test mules. But Pontiac does keep there rare cars in a warehouse located somewhere in Michigan. It's known as Pontiac's Treasure Vault.

I have never seen one like that, do you think someone made that?

Heres the exact info from Beretta.net

#1 WAS THERE EVER AN INDY CONVERTIBLE OFFERED FOR SALE TO THE PUBLIC?

-No, in fact the idea was scraped but a few models are still remaining.Three were made for pacing the race at Indy, and GM still has two locked away in a warehouse somewhere, while the third is owned by the Indy museum, home on the Indy 500.

Maybe that owner works for GM and he got lucky buying it.

lol, there's like 4 of those in my city, and they look _damn_ good, as in, not a chop job, so if it ain't factory, 'tis damn good work, and also, like 6 or 7 2000-ish Convertible cavi's

I wish my dad's '94 Ciera had a 5 speed. Its got the perfect floor setup for it too.

Corsica hatchbacks arent that rare. I see a bunch of them around here. One was even in the demo derby a few weeks ago.

This isn't a great engine, but someone asked in a post somewhere if Chevy made a turbo engine. I had forgot about the 1980 Turbo Monte Carlo. Here's a link to a hood bulge/scoop for one. I actually have one of these scoops already that I got free at a auto swap meet but I thought it was for a Dodge because it didn't have the emlems. P.S. Chevy also made the turbo Corvairs.

Yes. there were two different 3.8's offered around that time in the G-body. my '81 Malibu actually had the 229ci 3.8 Chevrolet V6 (a 'cut-off' SBC 305 basically). Buick started turbocharging their own 3.8 231ci V6 around '78 or '79 and it was known as the Regal Sport coupe; before the 'T-Type' name was introduced a couple years later. the Turbo Monte was rare, and it did have a hood buldge, but it was definately a Buick 231ci 3.8 motor. and a crappy turbo motor at that (carbed yuk). the only turbo Chevrolet motors i can think of off the top of my head is the TGP 3.1, the 4.3 Sy/Ty, and that Corvair thing.

production engines anyway. were there any more Chevrolet Turbo production motors?

The cre itself there is an overkill in abondance but there was less then 6% of 95 chevy luminas LS with a 3.4dohc in it something of that nature... as far as rare i hardly ever see them but i have seen maybe 4 so far but they could have been a newer 3.8 b/c they have dual exaust.
