Custom TGP exhaust - the beginnings

QTP electric exhaust cutout

 

2.5" SS cutout pipe

 

2.5" SS Cat- brand new off of an SRT 8

 

2.5" polished SS Vibrant 18" resonator

 

2.5" SLP gold firehawk tips

Still need to buy: 2.5" SS weld flanges, 3" to 2.5" reducer for between cutout and cat, 2.5" 304 pipe, 2.5" 304 mandrel bends, 2.5" y-pipe.

 

So far the plan is, I will tack it together in my garage with my fluxcore MIG welder, then take it over to my cousins place and have him TIG it up.

that looks awesome!! how much was the Cat? Where'd you get it? Once my Cutlass is running...hopefully tomorrow...I'm gonna need to get a Cat put on it to be legal.....looks great tho! need pics once it's done!!

resonator was like $110 after shipping / brokerage

 

cutout and y pipe was around $300 after shipping / brokerage

 

tips were $60 shipped

 

cat was a sweet hook up.

Looks awesome! I love those tips, the one ones on my car are getting some putted rust. Unfortunately the exhaust system is completely welded. Up to the cat so i have no easy way to take my tips off.

neat setup!! the cutout will show you big gains (21whp on my tgp...with cutout open vs closed on stock exhaust)! don't know about the oval tips....ive seen them on tgp's and they always look out of place...dont really go with the geometric lines of the car! never seen the ones you picked up...so im looking forward to seeing them on the car!

I am lovin' those tips!!! Man I would like to get me some of those if I decide to do the exaust. Looks like the makings of something really sweet right there :high5:
