Hello everyone,

I am searching a leveling kit for my rear suspension.

When I drive with my caravan the rear of my car may a little bit higher.

I hope someone knows a store where I can get a leveling kit.

Forward thanking, Jeffrey

Here is the suspension info for both the front and the rear of your car. I personally would address both.

Once again, well start with the front of the car.

1st - Held Motorsports Coilovers

You can go with Held Motorsports Coilovers. Yes thats right Coilovers in the front of your W-Body. Held Motorsports' Coilovers can be found HERE:

http://heldmotorsports.com/WBody/index_1.5.htm

They come in 3 stages, but expect to pay more as the stage increase ( i.e. less for stage 1 and the most for stage 3 ) If you have any questions, e-mail THEM. They are good about getting back to you. I know. Ive e-mailed them several times.

2nd - Suspension Techniques

These are Front Lowering Springs. They can be bought through JC Whitney. In other words, HERE:

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ProductBrowse/showCustom-0/makeName-Chevrolet/makeId-16/modelName-Monte%20Carlo/modelId-275/year-1995/showAll-1/N-10101+200728464+1995/refId-20004480/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2005865/c-10101/p-2005865/Nty-1/Ntx-mode+matchallpartial/tf-Browse/s-10101?Ntt=suspension%20techniques

Part number is 810113. These say that they will fit the '95-'99 Chevy Monte Carlo, but will fit the 1st gen suspension setup. Expect to pay about $90shipped to your door. Advertised drop on these springs are 1"-1.5".

3rd - Eibach

These are also Front Lowering Springs. These are advertised at a 1.3" drop. These can be found HERE. Remember!!!! These come in 2 pairs front and rear!!!

4th - Intrax

Once again Front Lowering Springs. These are advertised at a 1.8" drop. These can be found HERE. Remember!!!! These come in 2 pairs front and rear!!!

1st - Held Motorsports

Coilovers for the rear of your car. More information can be found HERE:

Go to the heldmotorsports website. You will SEE that they are adjustable coilovers, allowing you to RAISE or LOWER the car

yup....I honestly still don't see anything in your first post about raising your car, all I see is that "the rear of your car may be a little bit higher", so I took it as you are looking to lower...... but the coilovers will indeed allow you to raise the rear if that is what you want to do.

Hello,

sorry for my bad English.

That is what I want to do, raise my car. Only the rear suspension.

Can someone explain me how coilovers work. And how the adjusting from a coilover work?

tnx, Jeffrey

Coilovers work like this: You have a sleeve that is threaded. You have an adjuster nut that threads onto that sleeve. By raising or lowering that adjuster nut, that will raise or lower the car.

no need to apologize for the english, I wasn't trying to break your balls, I just misunderstood the question. Jay's explanation of coilovers is pretty self explanitory but if you do have more questions, please ask

wait.... those springs are for 2nd gens. do they fit 1.5 gens?? i cant remember if 1.5 gens are still monoleaf or not.

anyway, maybe these will work for you. they dont raise the car, but they do increase load capacity.
