Scottster Posted August 3, 2007 Report Share Posted August 3, 2007 Just wonder how out of the ordinary a noisy compessor is? My Dad tells me that the compressors on cars of yester-year made all sorts of noise...but I don't know that the Pontiac is old enough to fall into that category. It sort of sounds like a whining, "tired" old compressor, which has just been called back to work, since I got the A/C repaired recently. I have no idea how long the A/C had not been used (as I've only had the car since November). Any thoughts? I hope she holds out...there is still a good chunk of hot days left till the end of summer!
