GrandAmSE
Ok the batterys charged and is brand new. The volt gauge shows 13 volts. But the car will not even try and turn over. Could it be the starter? The battery kicked the bucket last night luckly when I was in the advanced auto so I just had to buy one and put it in. Went to the car today and it will not start. So I think maybe I didn't put the cables on tight enough or the alternater is shot. So I charge the battery and it still will not start? Little help! kuntzie
do the lights turn on.. on the dash/ headlinghts ect.. if so then is most likely your starter.
GrandAmSE
Yeah they do. I'm think I might just say screw the 3.4 and park the GTP and put a 3800 S/C w/ a 5speed.

GrandAmSE
Not sure what car but I know it fits a 3100.
CNBZ34
Do a voltage drop test on your positive cable from the battery to the starter. Make sure you do not have internal corrosion in the cable that is causing a voltage drop. Viltage difference should be less than .3 to .5 volts. digitaloutsider
Make sure the connections on the battery are tight. That can commonly cause a no-start condition.
GrandAmSE
Fixed thanks. I also replaced the power cable to the battery with 1 gauge wire. Where can I get a Big 3 upgrade kit for my car.
