DiscoStudd Posted September 29, 2006 Report Share Posted September 29, 2006 If you run 2nd Gen wheels on your 1st Gen, then you'll need to use wheel spacers and possibly need to shave down the brake calipers to get the wheels to fit properly. FWIW, the stock 1G Regal wheels have an offset of +38mm, the 2G wheels are (IIRC) +42mm. See where I'm going with this? You'd need to a 4mm spacer to push the wheel out to the proper dimension, and therefore you'd need to install longer wheel studs.
