eclipse5302 Posted March 23, 2003 Report Share Posted March 23, 2003 Don't forget, the TGPs have 8 inch wide wheels, and the TSTEs have 6.5 inch wide wheels. I have driven cars with like 245s on their 6.5 or 7" wide rims and they hanlde a whole better than the stock "skinnies" for lack of a better word. These new ones I got are directional too, and H speed rated, so its a little softer rubber, and of course the side wall height is shorter too, so they really did help handling. Jeorge Posted March 25, 2003 Author Report Share Posted March 25, 2003 well I went and ordered my tires and Struts from TireRack.com I went with 225/60/16 H rated Tires {KUM-HOE} kumho 716's. saved my self about $40 going with the smaller tires. I feel the front tires stick way out behind the front bumper as it is.... hard to explain, from the side and a bit behind the door, all you see is tire. and no front clip. Even on more conservative tire sizes. I would assume with 235's it would look like you have no front end. Anyway, was just wondering how well they lookon the car.
