i thought some regals had em?

Late model Regals did have them John, I'm not sure if ALL years did or not though. I know the 2000 LS shop car/wrecked Regal we had at my school had the factory STB.

would the late model regals/2nd gen w-body STB's work with my 1990 Grand Prix?

I saw a bonnevile at the yard yesterday, it had an STB, but im pretty sure it wouldn't have fit the GP (i didnt bother taking it out and checking). The mounts on the bonne were more oval, whereas the GP is round.

Yes, STB from a gen 2 W will work... they're just a bar and nothing else, so you can either pull out a power drill and drill holes into your strut tower plates, or get bolt-on adapters from ZZP for that factory look.

Where can one find a gen 2 bar? I wasn't familiar with the adapters from ZZP. So they work on a gen 1?
