What are my paint codes??

I'm trying to find some touch-up paint for my '01 Joseph Abboud Regal. It's a 2-tone paint job (charcoal and beige). I checked the instructions at autozone and found my trunk rpo code list. However, in the instructions, it says to look for codes with WA in them and there aren't any on my rpo sticker. Does anyone have a clue how to locate the paint codes on my car? Could 2 of the regular option codes be related to the paint? TIA,

Scott

It should be on the sticker in the trunk.. if you aren't sure maybe take a picture of it cause they can be a bit tricky to read. Mine was along the bottem.

I found a website that listed colors for your model Regal.....

"Two new colors - Dark Bronze Mist and White - have been added to the Abboud Regal palette that already included Graphite Metallic and Sterling Silver Metallic used in earlier models. A Light Sandrift lower accent complements each color."

That information was for 2002, so you probably have the Graphite Metallic/Light Sandrift combo. If you can though, post a picture of your RPO codes and we can try to verify that for you.

Thanks, a lot. I will try to get a photo of the rpo sticker today if I have time. I'm getting everything ready for Hurricane Dennis which is projected to hit in the area where I live. Thanks,

I know some of the autobody shops around here have it, but has anyone heard of/used/seen this thingy that, like you put in on you car and it actually takes a sample of the paint and tells you exactly what the paint code if? It tells you that even when the paint is faded so if you need to fix a spot on top of the car, it wont be darker or anything? Anyone else heard of any such thing? I was J/W

I know some local body and paint guys cal it "shooting" the car to get the right shade of paint. Your local auto parts store that deals with body shops can do it.

Here is a link to some pics that I took today of my Regal.

The RPO sticker is pictured. Everyone take a look and see if you spot any color codes. Otherwise I'll probably try to find the Graphite metallic and light sanddrift colors as per the post by mfewtrail.

MFEWTRAIL: What was that website where you got the color info? Thanks for everyone's help.

I got that info off of some car review/preview type site. You can search "Joseph Abboud Regal" on google.com and come up with several pages that list that same info.

Okay, I found the Light Sandrift paint but I can't find the Graphite Metallic paint for the upper portion of the car. I can't imagine that the color is actually Bright Teal Metallic as the code states. Any other suggestions?

You're probably going to have to end up going to a body shop and/or paint supply store in your area to find the paint code for Graphite Metallic. I tried searching a few more places and came up with every paint code except Graphite Metallic.
