They will work fine on the new GP's however they will stick out a little farther than the regular 97+ GP wheels due to the different offset. They are wider however, allowing a wider tire. However, you can't take a 5 spoke from a 97+ and put it on a pre 97 because the offset goes the other way and the wheels hit the calipers. no1kicker Posted April 23, 2005 Report Share Posted April 23, 2005 I sold TGP rims to a 97+ GTP owner. He said they fit fine but since they were 8" wide, the rears (I think it was the rears) stuck out from the body and he was looking for some 7" wheels to try.
