My only speedomater shot that I have online is both huge AND fake (I did it in a snowy parking lot...............wanted to hit the rev limiter in 5th [~162mph/7850rpm], but I kept digging into the snow too much).

Here's the link (non W-Body [my old SE-R], but funny):

Notice the E-Brake light that is on in the lower right corner.

I DO have some videos of my SE-R going pretty fast though. Here are a couple:

SE-R Top Speed with crosswind

SE-R walking away from Probe GT to nearly 130mph

SE-R 55mph roll-on against same PGT

My girlfriend's Neon vs a Grand Am GT 0-125mph

But if you want to see REAL speed...............

Here's two vids (taken from two different cars) of my friend Dan's old Audi S4 :D .........

Audi blowing by Civic (Civic at ~95mph)

Audi blowing by Lincoln Mark VIII (Mark VIII at...well.....you'll see :D )

Makes my car feel slow

Also Shawn what is that little scribble of sharpie for? Where you trying to cover the SES light

I pulled it out of the junkyard that way. I don't know why it's there. There's no light down there.

Nah......there going to blow their welds on the intake.

I've owned a car with that exact same dash....it IS ugly and horrid to drive at night..........an 88 Cutlass Sumpreme International........when it was running strong it would pull to 106 or 107.....towards its last few days 94 was about all it was good for.

You're insane, that dash is gorgeous, especially at night!

I've never seen a more beautiful dash, although the Chrysler Pacifica dash I've seen on the commercial looks very intriguing.

I don't like the Beretta dash. I think Jeremy posted a pic before. It only has digital numbers for the speedo, no bargraph. I like the precision of the digital readout, but I also like the graphical representation of the bargraph.

Cutlass digital gauges cluster is by far the best cluster I've ever seen.

:werd: I love the digi display, but it's weird that I find myself wishing I had analog gauges sometimes. :?

I can't say I've ever wished that! Why would you wish for analog gauges?

I have many other cars so I get my fill of analog gauges. The analog dash in the 94 is just downright ugly and cheap looking. It has just one idiot light for everything ("Check Gauges"). The Denali gauges I put in my truck are not too bad. It's kind of cool how they're all white in the day, but at night the numbers light up aqua and the needles light up amber. I would have preferred the needless light up red and numbers light up white, but not a lot I can do about that.

I think it's because the only car I have has digi gauges. For some reason I find myself admiring the analog gauges in other people's cars. My gf's Jetta has really cool looking gauges during the day, and at night they glow a cool blueish color with red needles.

Don't get me wrong though, I think the '88-'91 Cutlass digi dash is the coolest gauge setup I've ever seen!

I love how the entire dash lights up green, especially since my cd player took a dump and I have a factory tape deck in there. The only drawback to having a 5 speed is that nothing there lights up, and then all of a sudden the seat controls are lit up farther back.
