NORBI Posted December 11, 2002 Report Share Posted December 11, 2002 I want to know when you changed an air box in your car for a newer style how did you change the connection to the sensor thats next to the filter, i notticed its a different connection to it. Guest Posted December 12, 2002 Report Share Posted December 12, 2002 it is easy, but hard at the same time. I just got a new harness, pulled out the 2 pins that are used and put them into the new connector. I then taped up the MAF plug, and stuck it way down so that it is out of the way. I also had to change out my MEMCAL to the 1989 programming and everything was fine, but the speedo was off, so I had to change out that little gear in the VSS. After all of that, it is finished, and I have vener received a code from it (unless I take out the airbox, and forget to plug the IAT bake in ).
