chronic139 Posted November 27, 2002 Report Share Posted November 27, 2002 Well i took out my keyless module today. Visibly heres what I found. Burn marks on a few of the solder contacts and solder contacts on the wrong side of the circuit board on both boards. I sprayed the hell out of it with electronic cleaner and got my power locks to work properly (not keyless entry which i want). I also seem to have shorted out the trunk release, which must run thruogh this box as well because its on the remotes. so now i have locks but no trunk. could it be the motor for the trunk? i dont know but i priced new one from gm here and its $282cdn. sonofabitch.
