4spdz34 Posted April 1, 2004 Report Share Posted April 1, 2004 i picked mine up into the car on a hoist after it got rebuilt, of course it was empty, the fluid adds like 50 lbs. it was a 4t60e. i also did the same with 5speedz34's manual trans. his was full of fluid. i think u can lift it yourself and i'm not big unless u conside 5'10 175 big Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
brian89gp Posted April 1, 2004 Report Share Posted April 1, 2004 The 284 and 4t60's are definately heavy, as long as your not wimpy a single person can manage alone. 282 is light enough to do alone quite easily 282: 100lbs 284: 150lbs 4t60e: 175lbs, or close to it.
