paulo57509 Posted March 26, 2004 Report Share Posted March 26, 2004 Did the old wiper blades chatter? There's probably some "cheese" on your windshield that needs to be cleaned off. Get some Bon Ami cleaning powder. Wet the windshield and sprinkle on some powder. Get a sponge and scrub....scrub....scrub. Rinse well. The water should sheet off of the windshield and not bead. If the water beads, it's not yet clean. Now that it's clean, DO NOT apply stuff like Rain-X, etc. When Rain-X gets old, it makes wipers chatter in my experience. I've also had my wipers chatter after using some Brand-X pre-mixed washer fluid too. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
