Hello, I know my stock tire size for these 5 Spoke Olds Wheels is 225/60R/16 but has anybody put anything wider on these wheels without them rubbing? I need as much rubber on the ground as I can get because of the L67 Motor. Had these wheels powder coated to go on the Black 95 Vert.

So did you get any rub problems with the 245/55/16? I go to Long Jack and Kingsville once in a while also if you want to meet there sometime.

Shouldnt b any rub, I ran 245/45/18s no issue. Yeah lone jack would prolly b easiest as I pass through all the time. I rip a rubber trail to the picknpulls in kc all the time......takes me less than 40 minutes from warrensburg to truman rd lol

i had 235/55/r16 on my stock pie wheels, they are 6.5 in, i never had any rubbing issue, not sure what tires you are planning to use but i noticed better tires tend to help more than just an extra 10mm, also when you get tires really wide like that on narrow rims the car tends to roll in the corners and have heavy feeling steering. just my $0.02 posted pics for reference
