pinouts for radio?

for my 00 venture, but it is a 24 pin just like buicks and 04+ grand prix forsure

 

the van has an rds radio with onstar, im looking for the pinouts if possible.

only 1 pin is different on my van than listed. but still didnt accomplish what i was try to do

as you can see the radio will lock once the key is in the run i was trying to bypass this. now the radio is completely lock until i unplug it, then i could make it work in the accessory positions once again

 

 

im thinking there is a way to bypass this without a tech 2

It's the class 2 databus system. You need to get it to a dealer, or as you mentioned, to someone with a tech 2.

im thinking i can maybe tune it out with the powertuner, disabling passlock and other such security features, hell my 01 never locks, i can even use regualr cheap keys without the passlock

IIRC, the radio looks at the datastream for the vin. If it doesn't match, it doesn't work.

 

Typically, the easiest thing is to have the dealer just erase the stored vin. I've heard this works, but I would just have them replace the vin with whatever vin it thinks it should have.
