94 olds vert
Is there a way to tell if it is low? And what would you fill it with? As far as i know mine has never been refilled. The car sat in a garage for the last 3 years and the top hasn't been used in a long time and I have been recently using it a lot. Seems to work fine...until last night it was really slow coming up. Any ideas?
DavidHowell3633
There are some fill level marks on the clear plastic fluid reservoir. Don't top it off and close the fill screw because that could blow the rubber oring seal and make a mess. As far as what to fill with: you really need to know what's in there now. My 94 had brake fluid when i tore into it. But, I changed it over to transmission fluid. I think you just need to use what ever is compatible with what you currently have. I remember someone writing a thread advising the procedure to bleed and fill the system so I suggest you look for that.
