Rob, it's not all of the story. Why do you know all of this? Did you work for Olds? If so, did you know Larry Wallen? As far as I'm concerned, he's the guy who made Olds interiors the best of all GM cars, but I don't know when he retired. You seem to have so much info, but it all really begs for more. Someone really should write the history of Olds--is that someone you?

redcar, there are not many people that know the history of Old's as Rob does. If you were ever to talk to him on the phone, or meet him in person, you would truly understand. If you ever make it to NorthWest Ohio, please PM Rob or I, and we will both meet up with you to take you for a beer, show you a showcar Intrigue, and talk GM.

funny thing is they are actually tiger stripes according to the book but pontiac used the tiger for the GTO theme so the name got changed to zebra

This one is a 2001 Aurora with a 4.6 northstar 475 hp motor in it and a 6 speed manual trans 20 inch budnik with standox paradise green paint. It still exists !!

 

In the second picture is where all the show cars used to hide out together see the wheel rack in the back, thats where they kept all the special wheels.
