slick Posted October 12, 2006 Report Share Posted October 12, 2006 Buried the needle in the Z34, and the guage stops at 115. My old GP, like 95. Beretta, like 95. Crown Vic LTD, like 80 LOL. The Acura, like 95. Good for about 135 on the stock chip, tops out about 153 with just a chip, and keeps going from there with more mods. Fastest I ever had the GTP was 100 (ironically, I pushed the Grand Am to 105 the other week, which makes it the fastest Pontiac I've ridden in). I was running about 3200 rpm in 5th so i had a little ways to go before i ran out of gear. My guess is it would top out about 155ish. Tires were wayyy out of balance and everything was shaking in the car. So I didn't want to go any faster. Topped out my Tracker at about 82mph with the top off and a friend with me. lol Took the Bonneville up to it's limiter of 108. And I've taken my new Regal up to the 108 fuel cut a few times now. THe_DeTAiL3R Posted October 12, 2006 Report Share Posted October 12, 2006 88 GP (2.8) got it up to around 110mph before it kicked out I've only had my 95 up to 100mph or so, it's really slow after that and I don't wanna be pressing the gas forever going 100+mph.
