92chevyeuro
My abs has been giving me some trouble. Everytime i put on the brakes to come to a stop, my abs kicks in. How do i unhook the abs altogether until i can get it looked at?
Supreme Cutlass
The ABS unit is under the passenger seat.
1990lumina
Can you not just pull the ABS fuse?
Prospeeder
mabye get it fixed, but you can just pull the fuse, but it will throw an ABS light, wich you might wanna pull out the buld if ur gonna do that
Crazy K
The ABS unit is under the passenger seat. abs computer? Not in a car w/o PMIII. A 92 lumina EBCM is hidden in the front drivers side fenderwell towards it's rear. ANd same location on all gen 1 cars with vacuum assist brakes with ABS. You can stop it by pulling the abs fuse. but it will turn the light on. The probelm you are experiencing is called phantom ABS. If you can isolate which wheel is doing it, the senosr may just need cleaning or replacement.
92chevyeuro
I believe its the front passenger wheel thats doing it. I was just going to disconnect it untill i can get it looked at because i know it needs to be fixed for inspection.
