When im driving(rpm at 2000) mine is between 40 and 80 which i know is good, but when i get to a light it drops to practically zero. It goes a hair above the red area on 0. As soon as i hit the gad a bit and bring it to a steedy 1000rpm it goes right up to 40 again on the gauge. Im just wondering if this is normal. The motor is the 3.1 in my GP. Thanks... SaberZ Posted March 14, 2003 Report Share Posted March 14, 2003 My wrangler does that to this day. Like coming off a highway it dips below 40 but on the highway its a bit over 40.
